10D7N TURKEY’S HISTORICAL HERITAGE (THH-250)

In the evening, we gathered at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta to prepare for our flight to Istanbul, Turkey.

Fly to Istanbul via Dubai. Upon arrival in Istanbul, you will take a city tour and then head to Bursa. You will stop for photos at the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, Istanbul's iconic landmarks featuring magnificent architecture that face each other, representing the legacy of the Byzantine and Ottoman eras. Next, visit the Roman Hippodrome, a historical square that was once the entertainment center and chariot racing arena during the Roman Empire. Afterward, you will go shopping for Turkish Delight. You will then be transferred to the hotel for check-in and spend the night in Bursa.

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out process. Today, you will visit the Grand Mosque & Green Mosque, two beautiful grand mosques that are early relics of the Ottoman Empire in Bursa. The tour continues to the Ottoman Village (Cumalıkızık), an ancient village on a mountainside that still preserves the traditional wooden houses and cobblestone streets typical of the Ottoman countryside. Afterward, you will shop at the Silk Market. Then, proceed to the hotel for check-in and an overnight stay in Kusadasi.

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out process. Today, you will head to Pamukkale. You will stop for photos at Hierapolis Ancient City, the ruins of an ancient Roman city located on the hill above the Pamukkale pools. Next, visit the Cotton Castle, a natural phenomenon of pristine white travertine terraces (natural hot spring pools) shaped like piles of cotton. Afterward, you will shop at a Leather Factory Outlet & enjoy a Fashion Show. Proceed to the hotel for check-in and an overnight stay in Pamukkale.

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out process. Today, you will head to Cappadocia. You will visit the Sultanhani Caravanserai, a magnificent historical fortress on the Silk Road route that once served as a resting place for ancient merchants and their camels. Next, enjoy some shopping at a Textile Outlet. Afterward, proceed to the hotel for check-in and an overnight stay in Cappadocia.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today, you will visit Cardak Underground City, a historical multi-level underground city where people from ancient times used to hide. Next, visit Goreme Valley & Panorama, Pasabag Valley, Pigeon Valley & Devrent Valley: a stunning valley region with unique volcanic rock formations towering like fairy chimneys. The tour continues with a visit to Uchisar Village, a beautiful village set on rocky hills, serving as the highest point in Cappadocia. You will also visit Avanos Pottery Village, a town famous for its traditional pottery crafts made from the local river's red clay. Afterward, shop at a Turkish Handicraft Carpet Factory. Return to the hotel to rest.

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out process. Today, you will head to Ankara to visit Tuz Golu, a vast salt lake whose surface reflects the clouds like a giant mirror when the water recedes. You will also visit the Ataturk Mausoleum (Anıtkabir), the monument and tomb complex of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the great figure who founded the modern Republic of Turkey. Afterward, head to Istanbul for hotel check-in and an overnight stay.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today, you will enjoy a Bosphorus Cruise Tour, sailing on a boat along the Bosphorus Strait that separates the continents of Europe and Asia, while taking in the views of palaces and historical buildings along the strait. Next, you will shop at Taksim Square, Istanbul's bustling, iconic modern city center filled with shops, as well as the Grand Bazaar, one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world—a true paradise for finding souvenirs, jewelry, and spices. Return to the hotel to rest.
